Sydney Winter

It’s time to shut the windows across Sydney due to our first hint of winter yesterday, with a chilly dip of temperature throughout the Sydney metropolitan area. We experienced temperatures below 10 degrees over the past 24hrs, so it’s time to pull out the winter woolies and rug up. The cold change is expected to last for the next couple of days however we can anticipate average temperatures to steadily fall over coming weeks.

Now is the time to check your window and door seals and carry out any window repairs to make sure no unwanted cold air is coming inside the home. Whilst windows are a great way to let natural solar energy heat your home faulty or deteriorated seals can be a problem. By ensuring your seals are in good condition you will prevent warm air escaping and cold air intruding. Also, replacement of broken glass panels will assist in preventing cold air entering your premises.
